I tried really hard to like this series because I love all of her other books, but I just couldn’t get past the basic plot premise for the heroine. I think I needed a few more compelling details about the heroine’s motivation if I was to overlook the fact that she was going to initially allow her child to be experimented on and that she was going to the past to mate with what she thought would be something more ape like than human.
Sorry you didn’t enjoy it so much Lisa, thanks for giving it a go. I tried to explore how it’s easier to think/say you will do something. But when faced with reality, it’s not as easy as we think. Jenna thought she would be able to do it, she desperately needed the money, and this was the only way she could see of getting it.
I hoped I had redeemed her when she had the option of taking the money, when she came back in part two, but fought to get back to Haran and save their child from being experimented on. I appreciate your view though, thanks for sharing it with me.

I love the series. I would love to see more stories.
Thank you Valerie, I have Martha’s story in my head, I’m just trying to find the time to write it. I originally planned it in three parts, like Mate of the Cave Bear, but due to the changes with KU, I may write it as a novel instead. Or do you like the serial format? Or are you not fussed either way? All these decisions!
